Our Founder

Elli Morii is a global citizen who has spent the last decade helping startups scale and grow. Elli was born in Switzerland and has lived and worked in London, Paris, and Tokyo. She developed the idea for YokoYoko after one of her frequent travels to Japan. While on one of her trips, Elli visited antique auction for kimonos and obi’s and she was struck by their intricate beauty. A natural creator, Elli saw an opportunity to bring these rare designs to the modern luxury market.
